Dicyclomine+Paracetamol is a combination medicine. It is a pain-relieving medic
ine. It is used for relieving spasmodic pain associated with stones in the kidney or gallbladder, pain in the stomach during or before menses and due to blockage or obstruction in the intestine. Dicyclomine+Paracetamol is available in the form of tablet, capsule, syrup, oral drops, injection.

Dicyclomine+Paracetamol is used to relieve spasmodic pain and cramps and painful menstruation.
Contraindications of Dicycloverine / Dicyclomine+Paracetamol / Acetaminophen
When should one not use Dicycloverine / Dicyclomine+Paracetamol / Acetaminophen
- If you are allergic to paracetamol, dicyclomine or similar medicines
- If you have any heart-related problems or bleeding disorders
- If you have urinary tract disorder, obstruction in the urethra or ureter.
- If you have urinary tract disorder, stomach or intestinal ulcers
- If you have a muscle-related disorder called myasthenia gravis
- If you have an eye disorder called glaucoma
- If you are a breastfeeding mother
- If you are taking any other medicine that contains paracetamol or dicyclomine
- Dicyclomine+Paracetamol should not be given to children below 12 years of age.

- Dicyclomine (also called dicycloverine) is an antispasmodic agent that acts on smooth muscles of the uterus, urethra, intestine and bile duct and helps in relieving pain. It relaxes the muscles and improves the cramps and spasm....

Interactions of Dicycloverine / Dicyclomine+Paracetamol / Acetaminophen
Interactions with other medicines
- Some medicines can affect the way dicyclomine+paracetamol works or this medicine itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
- Tell your doctor about all the medicines, supplements or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
- You may experience increased side effects along with medicines to treat irregular heartbeats like quinidine, anti-allergy medicines like Phenothiazines, pain relief medicines like Meperidine.
- Concurrent use of this medicine along with blood thinners like warfarin and with antivitamin K can increase the risk of bleeding.
- Concurrent use of dicyclomine+paracetamol is not recommended along with medicines to treat glaucoma like timolol, bimatoprost, latanoprost and medicine to reduce cholesterol like cholestyramine.
- Medicines like Metoclopramide and Domperidone, Chloramphenicol, Loperamide, Neostigmine, Digoxin, certain antacids should be used cautiously with this combination.
